ABOUT US
Helping you create marketing
they’ll remember.
We use digital tools and a personal touch to tell your story the right way.
Based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, we work with local and international brands to create memorable messages that target the right people. Paid advertising, social media management, email marketing, TikTok management or even in-house marketing training, we cater for all.
How do we weave that wizardry? It’s all about the people below getting to know your brand, including what’s best for you and your tribe.
Elke Critchley
DIRECTOR
I love seeing brands capturing who they really are. It’s nearly as amazing as eating chocolate. If you’re a chocolate company? Well, game over.
With half a decade working alongside much-loved brands like Surfstitch.com, Balter Brewing Company, Bumble and Ray White, I was fortunate to learn from some of the very best.
Wanting more, I created Social & Staple - a boutique Marketing Agency that prides itself on our holistic approach, left-of-field thinking, and personal touch.
Often big agencies make the mistake of telling brands what they should be saying, instead of listening to the true reason why they exist in the first place. We’re not here to take over. We want you to feel both heard and nurtured throughout the entire process. The results shout volumes after that.
So take a look around. If you like what you see and what we stand for, get in touch.
Sienna Roberts
DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
Sienna keeps the Social & Staple ship sailing here day-to-day. Ultra organised, she gets the priorities sorted for herself and others, then helps execute things with style.
With over 6 years of retail marketing experience up her sleeves, Sienna knows exactly what it takes to concept strategies, then see them through to their unique conclusion. Sienna also has an uncanny knack for matching the perfect playlist with whatever we’re up to, whether that’s chatting creatives, winding down for the week, or syncing an oh-so-right tune to an Insta clip.
Our resident marketing maestro that we simply couldn’t do without.
Alysha Buckingham
DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR - CONTENT QUEEN
When Alysha started off as an intern with Social & Staple, it was pretty clear early on that we had a little dynamo on our hands. She has grown and continues to grow in her new role, covering client reporting, helping with content creation, photoshoots and even admin. Where Alysha really shines is in making unique videos and creatives for social posts that stand out from the word go. How? In her own words:
“I guess being young, I've always kept us with the latest apps, trends and popular content ideas. I've always had an eye for filming and photography. Also getting OCD from looking at a grid is real.”
Our young, fun gun that’s already doing big things.
Erica Alexander
AD SPECIALIST
Erica is a self-confessed numbers nerd that loves a fist pump when conversions jump. She’s constantly hustling and shuffling to ensure every little percentage of budget is maximised to meet clients’ aims - from Instagram sales, Facebook customer enquiries, or Google leads.
Paid ads might be Erica’s focus, but teamwork is her secret. She’s a dynamo communicator, making sure content creators know what’s working, running test results by clients, and crunching scenarios to solve any task at hand. Maybe her addiction to crime docco’s means she’s a super sleuth at heart. We’re just glad Erica uses her substantial powers for good.
Our energetic ad-code breaker and ROI money maker.
Megan Owen-Jones
BRAND COORDINATOR
Megan is the glittering cherry on our S&S brand cake (plus the flour and butter inside too). This woman gets all the ingredients of what it takes to manage a business, having worked in recruitment, marketing, digital conversion, and more. That insight into all the layers of making a business inside and out means she understands clients’ needs sometimes better than they do - a delightful thing to behold.
Megan manages all of this while making us smile, driving to do things right, and delivering constructive insights with a witty sense of humour.
Did we say a cherry? Let’s upgrade that to brand diamond. They can still go on cakes, right?
